On the doorstep Paraiso Pueblo we find El Paraiso Golf Club, one of the few clubs on the Costa del Sol that is managed by its members, and due to celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2023.

Its naturally beautiful, almost enchanting surroundings, and forgiving rough, have made it a popular club among golfers visiting the coast. The par 71 course extends 4,998 metres from the women’s area and 6,131 metres from the championship tees. With the yellow “tees of the day” it offers some 5,912 metres which is a challenge for any sportsman or woman.

The person responsible for ensuring that everything is ready for golfers to enjoy on the green is David Ramos, its General Manager. Born in Malaga, he is the son of a Spanish father and an English mother. David holds a degree in Business Studies from the University of Lincolnshire and Humberside in the United Kingdom. There he worked as a university intern in the time and attendance and access control company Tensor Systems PLC.

An adventurer, David travelled for 8 months as a backpacker to such unique places as Machu Pichu in Peru, Chile, Bolivia, Cuba, Easter Island, New Zealand, Australia, Hong Kong and Macau, Thailand, Cambodia, India and Nepal.

In the golf sector he has worked for companies such as Calanova Golf and Golf Leisure Breaks. After training in Madrid in golf course management, in 2009 he held the position of Operations Manager at El Paraíso where he has been performing different roles until now, always with the objective of making El Paraíso a better golf club.

The golf course, just 500 metres as the crow flies from Paraíso Pueblo has a very special attraction, of which we can highlight the views of the town of Benahavis from holes 3 and 15.

Designed in 1973 by Gary Player, it is home to a large number of strategically located trees, plants, lakes and bunkers. It could be said that El Paraiso is a Natural Park where golf competitions are held every week.

El Paraiso Golf Club has over 550 members, most of whom are English, although in the last two years there has been an increase in new players from Sweden, Belgium, Finland, France and Norway.

At Paraiso Pueblo we have preferential prices so that our clients can enjoy their facilities. Remember that despite the restrictions imposed by the Covid 19, the golf courses in Benahavis remain open, being safe spaces for the enjoyment of local players.

Paraíso Pueblo is an ideal place for golf lovers, a magnificent opportunity for those looking to invest in a property under the sun, with 3 bedroom flats with a garden from only 260,000 euros, with many having beautiful views of El Paraiso Golf’s gently undulating, pristine green fairway. Delivery of the 1st phase of 96 is expected at the end of 2020.

Feel special and wake up every morning with unique views over the Mediterranean Sea and the your wonderful Golf Course at El Paraiso Golf: Paraíso Pueblo, reserve your green fee and live your dream life!
